Smartie pants
The other day Dylan and I were shopping in quite a dodgy Korean toy shop which actually has some flipping cool little things and A LOT of scary looking porcelain dolls!
Lucky for us they had a little sweet section where we found these individually wrapped/pill packaged smarties.. haha.
awesome. and you can even use it as a universal remote!

Contessa
As you’ve prob seen on my blog i’m a pretty big fan of coffee shops! but not just normal generic ones.. cute, charming, quirky, quaint ones, the kind that are hidden away
and that not many people know about.. I decided a while back i wanted to do some coffee shop reviews while i’m on holiday but ive been a bit lax to be honest… *guilty face* but luckily my tea and cake buddy natalie got me back on track
thx nat! and we went to the wonderfully charming Contessa in Rivonia.
Its a bit off main road Rivonia but definitely worth the drive..




here’s just a little glimpse of it all – they have about a 1000 different types of teas to choose from (cuz its a tea connossieur obviously), and they have a lot of interesting things on the wall to look at and they give you jelly beans with your bill (awesome)

Welcome back elna! welcome home :)
I’m getting my Recessionista on! : ) I love dresses. lots of them but i find that most of the pretty little smocks i see in shops these days are waaay over priced and look soo easy to make!
So i found an awesome dead simple pattern! got my moms old elna sewing machine out and i’m going for some holiday sewing lessons! i’m so excited! i will post it up as soon as i’m finished!
here’s the awesome elna my mom used in the 70′s! no joke! i caant wait to use it!
