Welcome back elna! welcome home :)

I’m getting my Recessionista on! : ) I love dresses. lots of them but i find that most of the pretty little smocks i see in shops these days are waaay over priced and look soo easy to make!

So i found an awesome dead simple pattern! got my moms old elna sewing machine out and i’m going for some holiday sewing lessons! i’m so excited! i will post it up as soon as i’m finished!

here’s the awesome elna my mom used in the 70′s! no joke! i caant wait to use it!

best idea E-V-E-R :) i’ve been on Etsy recently and was adoring the utterly gorgeous dresses on there. and you’re right, they all look very simple to make and yet have hyooooge prices. so – HIGH FIVES! totally awesome, i can’t wait to see the results! ;)

..also, that first photo of you and the sewing machine? it rocks the socks.

This is the same machine my mom had, and the one I learnt to sew on. Hers is still going strong. A few years ago I bought my very own elna with my first bonus.
