flip i love lulu coffee – stopped for a quick cuppa this avie and it totally brightened my day finding these little figurines in the corner

hehe. We had to do a poster for Nu Metro for a horror movie festival! and my very good friend. very nice friend kirst was my zombie model! She crawled around in a burnt out gulley for 2 shoots.. i think she did an amazing job you really do the “undead, i’m a starving zombie from the ditches look well”! thank you! x

With only one hour left of my bday i thought i should try get a little blog in for the day – its my 21st birthday and ive had the greatest day! in particular i want to tell you about my clever nice wonderful handsome boyfriend who was at my house at 6.15am to surprise me with 21 roses and the most flipping cool surprise ever!

he bought me a diana instant back!!! and instant film so i can make pretty sweet wanna be polaroids with my diana lomo camera!!! flip i was soo happy i couldnt really contain it! flip i’m lucky! dylan i love you! i love you. i love you!

Ahh – to be a carefree french girl riding a bicycle down the streets of Paris in a sundress, prancing down the Champs Elysees, visiting versaille on the weekends and picking out a croissant or cupcake from the corner patisserie… mmm! i think i could do that… please watch this now! Miss Dior Cherie Commercial by Sofia Coppola

*sigh* i found the most wonderful of all wonderful blogs ever that  i have a huge big blog crush on its called the cherry blossom girl and she’s a french girl who basically posts her amazing outfits while travelling all over france and europe.

so absolutely beautiful clothes in stunning settings all over europe = an absolute winner for me. and she has a nice fringe.

While we’re on the topic of france and beautiful girls i just have to say that Audrey Tautou is my favorite French actress and if you haven’t seen Amelie or listened to its soundtrack you are seriously deprived! she is lovely and has a new movie coming about Coco Chanel – Coco Avant Chanel Trailer (click here to see the trailer)

she makes so many lovely birds and even has little pairs of sweethearts (2 bird lovers) and they’re all made out of vintage and antique fabrics, and are all one of a kind.. wooooow!

Yesterday was the 3 year anniversary of my dads death. Flip. i miss him soo much. He was such an incredible Dad and person to so many people. This is a little tribute to him. The first pic is when he was teenager – prob in the 60′s-so cool! and the one below is me on his shoulders in Cape Town on Table mountain. one of my favorite pics.

headbands rock my world. yes! and ive started making a few of my own – this is my super bright plaited coral one! mmm. i’m thinking of making lots and selling them – anyone for a headband?

This is my first completed dress it is very simple and i like it… and i even put in a little bit of bird detail.. i made another one out of the same colour as my headband! woop which i also made – see the next post!  

This was like my one and only favorite from my last spool from my Diana – i think i got a little too experimental and most came out very dark

But on the bright side – this was a very happy day me and nat were on holiday, buying second hand junksies and wonderfully exquisite cupcakes at deer hunter mmmm.. in our elementals* see us sporting our new sunnies and delish treats

oh and look at my nice birdie it fell off my hairclip and its been sitting on the shelf waiting to be fixed.. it needed a little debut* heeehee

yummmmm.. how pretty are they? and at the top is my most lovely clutch bag in the bluest of blue…
