There’s a blog game called “Just a minute” a lot of my favorite bloggers (started by this lady -August Street) have been a part of recently and i think its time i join in..

Listening  to.. Lykke li, Emiliana Torrini and Lisa Mitchell(i just got her album and she deserves a whole post dedicated to her! As far as i know she was an Australian idol. She’s super cute and awesome. DO check her out!

Reading.. the twilight saga, i gave in! i just finished new moon.. now onto eclipse..

Working out.. I’ve started road running and a bit of swimming to mix up my exercise routine.. tough but it feels good.

Mixing it all up.. speaking about mixing up my gym routine.. i’ve tried to mix up other things like.. routes to varsity (and i’ve actually found a quicker prettier route), when i go to sleep and wake up – i’m trying the early night, early morning thing… I refuse to let life get boring

Waiting for… December I will be in Mozambique with all my best friends..

Eating… Woolworths “Fruity Fish” (one of the new white packeted range.. mmmmm!)

Watching… Gossip girl (obviously) and i loved ‘UP’.. I cried like 3 times.. what a movie!

Feeling burnt out from varsity.. my creative cup only has a few little sips left.. cant wait for a real holiday.

While we were in the general dealer getting cokes and bubble gum balls i spotted a drawer full of earrings and jewellery for like R3 each, so i picked out a few little pretties..  

This weekend we went out to my families farm in Magaliesburg, man it was awesome and beautiful and relaxing..

We drank coke, creme soda and ginger beer out of awesome glass bottles.. There’s something about drinking sodas out of glass bottles which i love! It tastes better and its almost kind of nostalgic  

We bought them at this rad little general dealer we call “Ishmael’s” like 100 metres away..  you can get everything there from sweets to pans, barbies to clothes, hubblys to pocket knives.. its awesome.

huge smiles on my face today! and its not just cause its friday flip…. by blogging i’ve met soo many awesome inspiring creatives! One being lucky pony Angie Batis Durrant.. She has suuch a beautiful blog where she posts the stunning little awesomes of her life and she is super creative.. Its definitely worth a look —> Lucky Pony :) and from time to time she has giveaways of her favorite things and recently i have been the lucky recipient of  lucky pony prize.. i picked it up 2day, and gave an i love cupcake in return … i hope you liked the strawberry angie, it is my favorite one.

It was sooo so beautifully wrapped and the surprises inside were beyond my expectations of a pair of sunglasses.. heehee.

i’m back at varsity this week after a week of “holiday”… and it has been plainly disgusting which is the reason of no new blogs.. so i’m soo happy its friday! i found this flipping sweet idea for a new sewing project (even though i have 2 unfinished dresses! *gasp) - its half a white vest/top, half a vintage mens shirt.. simple hey!.. (i think) so i’m going to start hunting down some mens shirts at second hand stores and hopefully if they turn out cool i will show you

flip guys! i’ve been looking forward to this movie since the beginning of the year when they showed a short little clip of the 2009 movies at the Oscars! So its come out in America and probably everywhere else except here… and it was supposedly supposed to come out in October, then it totally disappeared off the nu metro forthcoming attractions! *shock. horror* but i’ve just seen its coming to us just in time for summer on 4 Dec. YAY!!! and the soundtrack is just lovely lovely lovely! The smiths, Regina Spekor, Temper Trap, Carla Bruni to name a few on there…..

ps. something else totally AWESOME! especially if you’re a fan of Zooey and Joseph – a little dance routine that makes me soo happy and makes me want to get up and travel back in time to the 50′s to wear the awesome  fashion, dance to the music and wear horn rimmed glasses and such.. click here Bank Dance.. heeeeee its so funny, i hope you like it!
