i haven’t been blogging the past two days because i’ve been getting ready for my perfect summer holiday to Mozambique:) 2 sleeps til i’m here:

This last one’s my absolute favorite heeheehee. I will be as happy as him once i get my toes in the sand and once i’m swimming with the fishies in the crystal clear oceans.. eeek!

I have discovered another awesome local blogger, this time she hails from Durbs and wow what a lovely place it is. I have to admit i wasnt always convinced about durban.. i’ve been there a few times and wasnt blown away… heehee. but seriously it looks like i was going to all the wrong places.

Lauren, Durban should make you their ambassador or something. thank you. x

This might just reveal what a nerd i am but i really like Wiki How To’s. I’m subscribed to it on my igoogle so everyday i get a ‘how to’ of something ridiculous eg. ‘how to seed a pomegranate’ or ‘how to be poetic’… or some funny self help ones ‘how to greet a girl’, ‘how to be elusive’, ‘how to look nice for school’…

heehee. ok so some are REALLY ridic. but it has saved me many a time, when i wanted to make candy lolli’s and gummi bears for a project, it taught me how to make a skirt and reminded me how to live in the moment.(click here please)

this last one may seem quite silly but i think sometimes we need a reminder to do it..

Casey from the blog Sibling Mine(click here) had me over on friday for a little chatter and tea on her blog she is tooooo sweet, kind and writes so beautifully and described my blog as a “sweet afternoon tea, a coffee shop of luxury, a photobucket of merrymaking or a freshly baked delicacy”.. haha i love it! thank you so much Casey. Her blog is definitely worth a nice long look-see, she has so much creativity AND has just become a real doctor! wow.

I watched ‘dan in real life’ again yesterday i love that movie so much. I especially like the soundtrack, so i did a bit of investigating and found out they had chosen one artist to hand make the soundtrack specially for each scene of the movie. and that artist’s name is Sondre Lerche.. *listens and heart turns to butter

His music has 50′s charm, folksy cuteness and smooth jazziness.. I don’t think i’m going to listen to anything else for a while

today’s the last day for entries for night of 1000 drawings! hope yours are in! i got mine in yesterday.. cutting it reeaally close..

i made a little tribute to lomo and my diana hehe. and i’m gonna keep a little mystery to my drawing til the night. hope i can find it amongst the thousands of other drawings.

My new favorite coffee shop in Joburg! i’ve gone there two days in a row, and i would go tomorrow too. heehee

everything about this place is tooooo lovely for words..  had to majorly cut down the photos i took. There were bell jars and bell jars of delicious things, quirky colours and light fixtures, old romantic music and of course a mouth watering menu.

you’re just going to have to visit it.. its located in northcliff in johannesburg.

dyl and I’s new fuji instax camera! pretty right? and we got the sweetest deal in town for it.. we’d had our eye on it for a while and when the price dropped we snapped it up..

the dress is a genuine vintage from deer hunter.. its the loveliest pale blue dress i’ve ever seen.

They’re getting older but they still have the ability to inspire me quite a bit. and i love this album cover!
