My best friends and I had tea and lovely tasties at Wolves this afternoon.. FLIP! It was DE-LIGHT-FUL!

Thank you to Angie and Shane for being amazing hosts, we felt so welcome and enjoyed every minute. we’ll definitely be back for more! Everyone living in Joburg MUST pop in for a Freezo and a slice of Red Velvet cake! x

These are some nice pics from my latest project. We had to design the ‘campaign’ for our end of year student exhibition for FADA – which is the faculty of art,design and architecture – so basically the brief was we could do whatever we wanted but we had to come up with a concept which represented an exhibition of all the different design departments. We had to make an exhibition poster, invite, digital invite and ambient media (advertising in an environment).

My concept was ‘we are illuminated’ ..

I wrapped myself completely in fairy lights, not as easy as you think and Dylan took the photos..

and this my invitation. I got ‘we are illuminated’ laser cut into the front cover.. teehee.. so it shows through under light..

It was a really fun project and local blogger Jelena was our external lecturer on the project! Thank you. you were such a nice lecturer!

Did anyone else also grow up eating mango’s like this? hahaha.. We have the biggest, most juicy scrumptious mango’s at the moment.. breakfast time.. mmmm. Happy Vrydag friends! Hope you have the loveliest weekends!

I was making a special ‘cheerer-upper’ cd for my friend.. and did a bit of album art.. gghee. I quite like it. I’m pretty inspired by that new She and him album art, think i’m going to do more just for kicks.. and extra portfolio pieces. hope she likes it. xx <3

YES! She and him: volume two is coming out in exactly a week but they have given us a delicious taste of whats to come! YAY!

This is the music video for their new single ‘In the Sun’… Its sooo sooo cute! I was smiling the whole time and it made me want to get up and dance around in my school uniform! FLIP. I love it.

Really! I’ve been salivating over its pages since i got it and its really about time I learn how to cook and bake! Thank you so much for wrapping it up so beautifully! look look!! —–>

Yoh! I don’t even know where to start! I think i’ll have to make this a cooking blog and cook thru it like in Julie and Julia. maybe.

Two other nouveau movies i’ve been DYING to see are “An Education.” The lead actress Carey Mulligan is being called the new Audrey Hepburn. She’s so lovely! I cant wait to see it..

and Bright Star.. ahh. I can’t help but love ‘period’ films.. Its about the poet John Keats and his forbidden love affair.
