Meet Minky
I know i’ve spoken about my little cat a few times before but I think it’s time for a proper introduction. Meet Minky
(not van der westhuizen!).
She is the funniest and sweetest cat you’ll ever meet. She loves a good nose and ear rub
She sometimes has dreams she can fly
she gets a super adorable grumpy face if you disturb her sleeping
She’ll pretty much sleep in any nook she can find
but a box is first prize.
I also sometimes find her nestled in my clothes. naughty
and she refuses to drink out of her water bowl and instead will fit her head into any glass to get a little drink!
She’s scared of vacuum cleaners and once sniffed a lit candle. She comes out and greets me sweetly every time I come home, and is about 10 x more cuddly in Winter.
Ps.I promise I’m not going to be a crazy-blog-about-my-cats lady : ) but I thought it was about time you met
seeking out illustrators
Morning friends. I have some very pretty paper products eye candy and a sincere request this morning. Dylan and I are looking for an illustrator to do some work for a special project we’re working on, and looking for quite a specific style. If any of you know anyone who can make pretty illustrations/typography like this PLEASE let me know : ) contacted Rifle Paper co in Florida who does these lovely pieces below but they’re a bit too busy too do anything for us at the moment (and i’m pretty sure they won’t be cheap). I love these so much. Each one is a little folky masterpiece.
Camden + giveaway
To carry on from friday.. Camden was another little place we found in Richmond hill (In Port Elizabeth). It was such a nice little shop filled with unique vintagey home decor and clothing. I didn’t actual take as many photos as I thought I did.. oh well! there a few and I took some pics today of the stuff we bought.

It’s no diet day today apparently and to celebrate Levi’s sent me a big chocolate cupcake! Woah! They also said that if any of you JHB or PTA ladies get to the Levi’s store today you get a free slab of Lindt (when you go for a custom fitting of their Curve ID Jeans)
