I've been drooling over this Anthropologie furniture all week. I'd love to have a statement couch one day.. one that when you walk into a room it's like boom! bright yellow couch! But alas I think I'll have to wait a bit longer ; )

Dylan and I are a bit furniture fussy.We have to both agree on something 100% and both like it A LOT before we buy it. So when we got married we bought one of those L-shaped couches, that fits pretty perfectly into our house, it's beige so it's quite nice and neutral and it works with the space well, but wowsers I'd love a bright couch one day.

I can fantasize all day but it's probably a bit wiser to stick with the classic sofas, and then spice them up with cushions and throws in whichever colours are in that season unless you have a bi-yearly furniture budget and can update your furniture once or twice a year! Cushions are bit cheaper.

I'm absolutely smitten with the chair above! : ) They belong inside a house in a forest near a lake or something.
