DIY: Summerfied Coasters & Vases

I’ve been in such “home maker’ mode in the last few weeks. Putting things in places, arranging things, dreaming about spaces and what to put on the walls and looking up tons of DIY  projects to do. These two are fairly simple. All you need is some old coasters and empty glass coke bottles.

We already had these round wooden coasters which were just plain and boring but always on display whenever guests came over, so I found some spare paint and gave them a bright updated look.

All you need is masking tape to section off where you want to paint and a nice bright colour and then you have some cute new coasters to put a delicious cocktail on.

I recommend “On the rocks” by Neil Roake. I can’t wait to whip up some of these cocktails.

I used the same colour to paint some old coke bottles we had lying around. You can use these as vases, or to hold straws 😉 or just by themselves as a display item. They just add a nice pop of colour to a table.

Let me know if you try it!
