A portrait of a beard

After reading this post i’ve started experimenting a bit with multiple exposures, something i’ve always been fascinated by, and happy to discover I can make these beautiful images in my 5D Mark III.

Dylan was my first subject and the results got me so excited I want to do a whole series of images using this method.

I really love how this picture came out, mostly because of the magic that’s happening between Dylan’s beard and the autumn leaves. In black and white it feels so lovely and wintery and I’m thinking this picture would make for an awesome print in our house somewhere.

Wow, your photos came out beautifully! I posted about Sara Byrne’s double exposure pics earlier and have since been jealously coveting any and all who have the right DSLR for this technique. Looks great, well done!

Wow! Beautiful! I’m so sad the 7D doesn’t have this function.
