I remember discovering Dri Dri in Notting hill last year, it was a bit of a chilly day so I went in to look but didn't eat any of the colourful gelato, I just admired the prettiness of the branding. Next time i'm in London I'm going to make sure I try some.
This trip I have to say I got the 'weary traveller's legs' way too often.. too much time on your feet and no desire to walk further, no matter how close something is, which is a bit of a pity as the museums and art galleries are one of my favourite things about London. I did manage to do two favourites from last time though - The V&A museum and the Tate Modern, and one new one - the Museum of Brands, packaging and advertising.
I've learnt about all these products in history of design so it's so awesome to see them in real life. How's the first cell phone below .. and the first mac. hee.
At the Tate , they had a beautiful exhibition on called 'expressive gestures' or something like that - awesome artists featured!
We went to Brighton on Sunday and it was mother-flipping hot day so the whole of London decided to go too. It was super busy but a lovely little beach town. awesome victorian pier & fun fair. pebbly beach. fish and chips. seagulls. beach chairs. ice-cream. blue skies. blue sea. nice shops in "The Lanes".

when I was in London I went to this AMAZING juice bar called Joe & the Juice (it's on Regent street, just off Oxford) and they serve nice sandwiches and freshly squeezed/pressed juices, some with strange things in them like spinach (which I tried and it was amazing).
So when I got home I convinced Dylan to buy us a juice extractor and we LOVE IT! We have a different juice every morning, pretty much with whatever fruit we have in the house. This is what I had this morning.
I've experimented a bit with ginger/spinach. you guys got any other interesting ingredients for me to try? Will try to do more juice posts.. I always remember after I've drunken half the thing though! hehe.
On my last day in London I went with a friend to a concert in Hyde Park - The Vaccines, Beirut (who are both awesome bands by the way), Mumford & Sons and Arcade Fire. I felt so spoilt to see more than one good band in one day.. imagine what Glastonbury must be like? These are a few pictures from the day. [They had an 'arcade' set up with all sorts of games like pac man and a free photo booth - awesome right?]

Since I arrived in London i've been spying out this awesome place, almost everyday on the bus. and finally went there today with my sis. It's called Byron and their slogan is 'proper hamburgers'. and it is just the most gorgeous place I think i've ever eaten in. I felt like I was in mad men and pretty much snapped away the entire time I was there, so this is a very narrowed down selection of pics (and it's still photo heavy - sorry). : )
I went to the one on Putney High street but there are ten others around London. You. have. to. try. their. burgers! They are scrumptious!
There are only 3 in London, and they're all tucked away in backroads (we went to the one near Oxford street). Thank you lauren for the recommendation : ) we loved it. It was so sweet and happy and charming and homey. and my pancakes were too good to be real. I try re-create this stack every time I have pancakes. mmm. if you're in london its worth navigating the little streets to find one of these. such a nice find, walking along the streets and seeing this POP of yellow. <3 just go there k!
I've been looking for anchor necklaces and nautical related items for such a long time and London is like sailor crazy! :) I even got my little niece in on the action.. I bought her this sweet little tennis dress from Zara Baby. Man! I wish I could buy her all the little mini fashion items. tooo sweet to bear!
