Last week thursday Angie and I (as well as a ton of other bloggers and media people) were flown down to CT to celebrate the launch of Mr Price Summer!
They went all out to create the ultimate summer fest! It was basically like stepping into Coachella. We were greeted with a drink and a programme of a whole list of things to do.
There were two pop up shops. One was a summer edit of a few of the new things at Mr Price and the other was an incredible Henry Holland installation with the 9 beautiful dresses he designed for Mr Price. (Which you can get on the online store or in the shops now).
There was a flower crown making station where we could make our own fresh flower crowns, and a beauty bar where everyone could go get their hair braided and their nails done. I got a braided/flower crown combination and absolutely loved it - I really have to learn how to make my hair like this at home!
It was so awesome to see everything that Mr Price is doing with the Red Cap Foundation and to see all the exciting new things they have in store for 2014.
Scroll through to see a few highlights from the day.
Sneak peeks from their S/S 14 range.
It was such a rad day meeting and chilling with internet friends, eating amazing food from the Old biscuit mill vendors and listening to some lovely tunes by Jimmy Nevis and Blush and Bass.
One other very cool thing they had was an Instabooth provided by the newly relaunched 250gram. Every instagram we posted with the hashtag #MrPmySummer got printed out and we got to take them all home.
Thanks Mr Price for an incredible day!

All the bloggers and fashion people of South Africa got together yesterday at 3 Desmond street to celebrate a very cool collaboration between Mr Price and House of Holland.
Henry Holland designed some special edition t-shirts for Mr.Price in association with the Red Cap foundation. R10 of every shirt will go towards what they're doing in education and disadvantaged schools in South Africa. We got a little sneak peek into what they're doing and it was so inspiring to see the difference they're making, and I think more SA brands need to get on board with initiatives like this.
Here are a few of my pictures from the event.
It was such a beautifully put together event. Mr Price really know how to make things look awesome and put in the extra effort. The menu was a variety of tasy combinations. Strawberries and cream, bangers and mash & fish and chips. My claim to fame of the day was chatting to Henry Holland about the delicious fish and chips, while I was stuffing my face with the said fish and chips... it was an awesome 15 seconds.
We also all went away with a tshirt from the new collection and a few nice things from Mr.P. As per usual they spoil the pants off us.
