Eiffel Tower+diamond ring=happy me!
Ok, so I know I have millions of other posts waiting to happen but this one is pretty important.
After an early morning breakfast picnic by the eiffel tower, dylan got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! and I said YES!
(obviously) haha. he even put a timer on his camera to capture the moment so this first photo is my totally unadulterated surprised face!

My pretty ring

Afterwards dylan took me shopping on the champs elysees for a new dress so we could celebrate the evening in style at a fancypants restaurant called il vino (more to come on the eve in a later blog) We had such a nice day shopping, drinking espressos at a real french cafe and eating macaroons from Laduree.

I can’t believe how lucky I am. Dylan I love you! Thank you for making it soo special. Can’t wait to marry you!
la la la lovely – Laduree
Before Sunday I have to admit that I had never eaten a macaroon. I’ve seen them on lovely films like Marie Antoinette and always wondered what they tasted like.. They always looked quite hard on the outside and to be honest dry.. so I got the most pleasant surprise when I had my first one on Sunday
I went to the Laduree tea room at Harrods, its originally from Paris and they apparently are the best of the best!

The outer layer is delicate and easily crushed in your mouth and you immediately get a mouthful of creamy flavour.. Ahh. It only lasts about 3 bites but wow! Every bite is like a luxurious experience. YUM!
I had rose, rasberry and mint. The amount of flavours they have is insane! I couldn’t take any photos inside so I had to steal some from their website.

I wasn’t feeling my smartest on this day, wearing converse and all,
so i got mine to go and ate them in park of the V & A Musuem (which will be blogged about this weekend)
