You may have seen a sneak peek of this look over on instagram but I was involved in a little challenge with Mr P.
Mr Price gave the same shirt to a few local bloggers and we were all asked to style them in our own way. See all the results on their online store. The looks couldn't be more different!

This morning Mr Price treated a few of us Jozi bloggers to a sneak preview of their winter range over some delicious breakfast at the beautiful Westcliff Pavillion. There are some amazing pieces that I can't wait to get my hands on!
"This winter, grunge meets glam in a mash-up of checks, matching-prints and gotta-touch textures. Laid back looks are layered with statement coats while soft silhouettes are toughened up."
Here are a few snaps of the morning. I made a little video too so you can see a bit of a behind the scenes of what we got up to!
Obsessed with this little Tartan set below. Available in store and online.

Hope your week is off to a great start! Dylan and I slept in until 8:45 this morning, it was truly magical. We may have to work on the weekends but nothing beats sleeping in on a Monday morning when everyone else is sitting in traffic heading to work.
I'm seriously loving the cooler weather in JHB, i'm craving tights and boots with outfits like this (probably mostly to hide my milky white legs), I even tried to wear stockings with a dress last week but ended up peeling them off by midday. Come winter come, I'm ready for you.

"It’s an effortless fusion of feminine florals with masculine military, and girly charm with a touch of grunge".
I'm a big fan of denim, lace and over the top floral... and i'm busy shopping the range online right now! *Let me at it!*

Nothing beats a fashion night out in an incredible venue overlooking Joburg. Last night was the Elle Rising Star awards (previously know as the Elle New talent awards), which sees 8 young fashion finalists showing their ranges for the first time on a catwalk to the public and a panel of judges. 1 winner walks away with an incredible hamper of prizes that will help fast track their career. They also get to design a range for Mr.Price which will get the country wearing their clothes - what an incredible feeling that must be.
Here are a few snaps from the show.
The above designs are by Jane Elizabeth Kotze - the overall winner!
Above: Amber Jones & some of her clothes from her new collection
The winner! Jane Elizabeth. Well done!
One stylish guy.
Incredible handbags by Tamara Cherie Dyson.
I also got super spoilt by Mr.Price with a neon box full of awesome things (The loveliest people work for Mr.Price, thank you so much). Here are a few more details from the night via instagram.

Lately i've become pretty obsessed with two-pieces. They're such easy/lazy outfits to throw on, and i'm particularly taken with this new Mr Price Tartan suit! The fit is incredible and I'm definitely going to wear this look well in winter! (Just add tights, boots, and perhaps a red lip).
I'm also loving messy braids. They're my favourite bad hair day fix and are great for shoots too.
I've been living in an editing black hole for a few weeks trying to catch up with our crazy summer season and I will slowly be posting some of the highlights over at Lad & Lass (and maybe some here too). I am happy to say i'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel : ) so you'll be seeing a lot more of me around here soon.
Tartan Two-piece, Black Block heels, Antler necklace: All Mr Price. Sunglasses: Zara
Oh and if you want to get your hand on this two-piece, I would suggest do it online soon before they're all sold out!

Last week thursday Angie and I (as well as a ton of other bloggers and media people) were flown down to CT to celebrate the launch of Mr Price Summer!
They went all out to create the ultimate summer fest! It was basically like stepping into Coachella. We were greeted with a drink and a programme of a whole list of things to do.
There were two pop up shops. One was a summer edit of a few of the new things at Mr Price and the other was an incredible Henry Holland installation with the 9 beautiful dresses he designed for Mr Price. (Which you can get on the online store or in the shops now).
There was a flower crown making station where we could make our own fresh flower crowns, and a beauty bar where everyone could go get their hair braided and their nails done. I got a braided/flower crown combination and absolutely loved it - I really have to learn how to make my hair like this at home!
It was so awesome to see everything that Mr Price is doing with the Red Cap Foundation and to see all the exciting new things they have in store for 2014.
Scroll through to see a few highlights from the day.
Sneak peeks from their S/S 14 range.
It was such a rad day meeting and chilling with internet friends, eating amazing food from the Old biscuit mill vendors and listening to some lovely tunes by Jimmy Nevis and Blush and Bass.
One other very cool thing they had was an Instabooth provided by the newly relaunched 250gram. Every instagram we posted with the hashtag #MrPmySummer got printed out and we got to take them all home.
Thanks Mr Price for an incredible day!

Here's a little peak into the other looks I put together. I know I don't usually do a lot of fashion posts (I prefer to be on the other side of the camera), but I'm thinking of doing more : )

All the bloggers and fashion people of South Africa got together yesterday at 3 Desmond street to celebrate a very cool collaboration between Mr Price and House of Holland.
Henry Holland designed some special edition t-shirts for Mr.Price in association with the Red Cap foundation. R10 of every shirt will go towards what they're doing in education and disadvantaged schools in South Africa. We got a little sneak peek into what they're doing and it was so inspiring to see the difference they're making, and I think more SA brands need to get on board with initiatives like this.
Here are a few of my pictures from the event.
It was such a beautifully put together event. Mr Price really know how to make things look awesome and put in the extra effort. The menu was a variety of tasy combinations. Strawberries and cream, bangers and mash & fish and chips. My claim to fame of the day was chatting to Henry Holland about the delicious fish and chips, while I was stuffing my face with the said fish and chips... it was an awesome 15 seconds.
We also all went away with a tshirt from the new collection and a few nice things from Mr.P. As per usual they spoil the pants off us.
Thanks so much for an awesome day.

My blog deleted this post last week so i'm reposting it today, just after i've placed another order on Mr.P online. How easy? How wonderful? Who's tried it already? It seems to have exploded and i've seen a lot of people happily getting their orders speedily delivered to them!
I made a bit of a round up of my favourite things for guys and girls on their online shop.
I really love the guys stuff. So on trend. Well done Mr.P, well done.
